The Orcish Buildings

Building image

Building description

Great Hall

The Great Hall is the Orcish main building. The recources (gold) are in stock here, and the miners and builders are also trained here. The Great Hall is built in the well-known Orcish building style: A red roof, supported by long bones/horns.

Fortress

The final upgrade of the Great Hall is the Fortress. These factors are crucial in battle, so you eventually need to upgrade to the Fortress.

Burrow

The Orc Burrow serves two goals: the building provides food for the Horde, a role that it has taken over from the Pig Farm. This means that you have to build more Burrows when you increase your army. The second function of the Burrow is the defence of your base. Peons can enter the Burrow and shoot at enemies from there. Once in the Burrow, nothing can hit them so enemies have to destroy the Burrow first before they can kill your peasants.

Barracks

To the fierce Orcish Horde, this must seem their most important building. Their warriors are trained in this structure, which seems so Orcish with the long 'horns' carrying the roof. Not only the basic Grunt and the ranged Head Hunter are trained here, the slow and heavy Catapult is also created in the Barrack.
