The history of the fall of Azeroth
and the Orcish Acsension.

Introduction

Long ago, the Orcs lived in their homelands, while the clans were shattered and were fighting each other. Then a new leader rised: Gul'dan, who was teached magics by the daemon Kil'jaeden. He gathered a few warlocks together and he bestowed the knowledge of death to these men, leading them in secret rituals and communing with the spirits of the Twisting Nether. This was the Shadow Council. Within a few short months the Shadow Council had its hand in all of the important political matters within the Orcish Horde. Things went well within the horde. The clans were united. Then some Orcish magic students discoverd Medivh... For over one thousand years the last Guardian of the Order of Tirisfal, Aegwyn, wandered the realms of Azeroth (see map), safeguarding the people of its lands against the ethereal powers of the Great Dark Beyond. But he grew old, and he gave birth to a son, Medivh, to succeed him. Aegwyn transfered all his powers to him. On the eve of Medivh's 13th birthday, his powers awakened. The clerics of Northshire pacified him for six years.... When Medivh awakened, he had full control of his faculties and powers. While his powers were growing, he began to unreveal the mysteries of life and dead. He discovered an other, red world, and laid contact with it's mightiest leader, Gul'dan, through some magic students. Medivh gave Gul'dan the total right of control of Azeroth and all it's magics, as long as Gul'dan destroyed the only thing that could keep Medivh from total power: The great Kingdom of Azeroth. Gul'dan and Medivh opened in the year 583 the first of the unnatural Portals between the world of Azeroth and the world of the Orcs. The Dark Portal was in use, the Orcs arrived in Azeroth..... The First War The arrival of Gul'dan, the chieftains Cho'gall and Killrog Deadeye and lots of Orcish clans heralded a war for nearly five years. The Stormwind Keep fell under an attack of Orcs, which caused the death of many Humans, Orcs and the King of Azeroth: King Llane. But the Orcish leaders were mad: they had suffered many deaths and Cho'gall and Killrog blamed each other. Then Gul'dan discovered the chieftain of the Blackrock clan: Blackhand. He was loyal to Gul'dan, so Gul'dan made him Warchief, the Orcish army's leader. The lands of Azeroth were razed. But Medivh did not see his dreams come true: He was killed by Azerothians who broke into his tower. And when Medivh was getting killed, he began to send telepathic waves. Gul'dan attempted to enter Medivh's mind to steal the location of the Tomb of Sargeras, a magic tomb with ancient powers, a great help to concour Azeroth, perhaps a possibility to persuade the Daemonlord Sargeras to help him kill the Humans.... But before Gul'dan could retrieve the location, Medivh died. As he was in Medivh's mind when he was killed, he suffered a psychic backlash. Gul'dan slept for weeks, and when he awakened Blackhand was murdered by one of his most trusted generals: Orgrim Doomhammer. Without Gul'dans magics to protect Blackhand, Orgrim saw his chance and made himself the Orcish Warchief. In between, the Azerothians left their homelands lead by sir Anduin Lothar, a member of the King's Honor Guard. They crossed the Great Sea, and arrived in Lordaeron, were King Terenas welcomed them. Lothar convinced Terenas to unite themselfs against the great danger from the Orcs. And as the shores of Lordaeron already were hit by Orcish ships, Lothar found a strong ally in the king of the seaside kingdom of Kul Tiras. The lord of Stromgarde, Thoras Trollbane, offered his support too. And from the ancient mountains of Khaz Modan came the Dwarves of Ironforge, reporting that they were attacked by Orcs, and from the shadow forests of Quel'thalas came the Elves of Silvermoon with their ancient magics, and they both offered their support. The Alliance was born. The Second War The Orcs crossed the Great Sea to Lordaeron, trying to achieve the final victory and to destroy the people of this world..... But the Alliance raised a mighty army, with the warriors of Azeroth, the Knights and Paladins from Lordaeron, the Elves from Quel 'Thalas with their longbows and magics and the Dwarves from Khaz Modan with their courage and their advanced technologies. The Orcs attacked, but the Alliance stood their grounds and didn't step back. The Orcish army lost hundreds of men trying to overwhelm the Alliance, and the Allaince fought back: They forced the Orcs to go back to the shores of Azeroth, and the Alliance took their captured lands back. When the mighty armies of the Alliance arrived in Azeroth, the end of the Orcs began. The Dark Portal was destroyed, and the Orcs were trapped. For months the Alliance was busy to capture the remaining Orcs, and even the Orcish Warchief Orgrim Doomhammer was arrested and kept as a prisoner by King Terenas of Lordaeron. After the Second War When all the Orcs were captured and put in a prison camp, within the Allaince raised a discussion about the Orcs: What should they do with them? Thoras Trollbane from Stromgarde and Genn Greymane from Gilneas thought the Orcs were a great threat and that they should kill them. After months of debate both leaders withdrew their support from the Alliance. Even Azeroth's new king, Varien Wrynn couldn't prevent the distance between Azeroth and Lordaeron to grow, and their Alliance was a hollow one. But finally, the remaining Alliance decided to leave the Orcs alive. They were transformed into slaves, forced by the Humans to do all the hard work in Azeroth. Unfortunately, the once nobel Alliance wasn't anymore what it used to be. Fallen apart due to the internal fight about the Orcs, it was corrupt and it's name unworthy. The Orcs fell back to their shamanistic roots. They abandoned the black magic, and became what the Horde once was: a group of proud Orcs. Under the leadership of the young Orcish leader Thrall, the remainings of the clans were united. The Horde was back. But instead of fighting their supressors, they are faced with a greater problem, just like the Humans: A mythical army prepares to fall in to Azeroth and to destroy all of it's inhabitants. This army, the Burning Legion, had visited Azeroth long before because of the Night Elves magics. The Night Elves, a dark and retract race with great contact with the nature, made a mistake with their magics, causing the arrive of the Burning Legion. But they destroyed the Legion, and ever since nobody has seen them. But this is going to change.... And this is the point, were Warcraft III begins.....
