Yes, at last, some explanation about what and who de afwerking are.

Okay, time to talk.

As you might have guessed, de afwerking consists of four people.
In long flown by times we were with three people, &Joy is our newest permanent member, however, he has been a important input in the projects of de afwerking since the beginning (hence the permanent membership).

What do we do ?
We pretend we can do everything from painting a simple wall to building a rocket ship (hey, we really can).

What do we do for a living ?
One of us is working at a multinational company as a computer system operator/troubleshooter/maintainer and much much more having to do with putters.
Another one is working part time at a multi media company as art director/supervisor and for the rest of the time is an artist.
Yet another one is working at firm where he makes al kind of technical manuals, information systems and whatever else has to do with keeping things documented.
And the last one is working as a instrument maker at the Leiden University in the physics department, where he designs, builds and maintains the stuff, to do the fundamental experiments that keep science alive.
(you see, we really can build a rocket ship, we've got all the knowledge)

What hobby's do we have ?
Well, to be honest, to much to mention.
Just some main hobby's we share are: Photography, Art (you think of it, one of us likes it), putters (hardware, software, everything to keep 'm running), Books (mostly SciFi), Film (only the best), Comics (again, only the best), Music making it, and Music by others just listening to it (varying from Abercrombie to Zorn with Wire somewhere in between).

So, what does this all mean to de afwerking ?
This common knowledge means we always have something at hand to do together just to entertain and amuse ourselves or the rest of the world (yes, always think big).

But what is the output of de afwerking ?
Well, we used to have a very big web site together (100 to 200 pages counting everything, stored on several servers) where all of us contributed with personal stuff and a huge amount of pages on which some or all of us worked together, but, if your reading this, you're to late, we have quit all online activities and started having fun in the real world again.
(however, we all maintain some private pages and keep on doing our HTML tricks and experiments, so someday we might be back, bigger, better, meaner and smarter)
