A TRUE CEILIDH "Brilliant, fantastic, a great night"
We hired Carieke and the Star Of The North Ceili band to play at our wedding and they made the party. Being Scottish myself and having played in a Ceilidh band I was a bit worried that the quality of a Dutch band might be different or that our Dutch guests would not want to take part in such traditional dancing, but the music was played brilliantly with lots of energy and the dances were so well explained no one hesitated in getting up to dance. It really brought everyone in the room together.
Of course everyone always tells the bride and groom how much they enjoyed themselves but all of them mentioned the band, the dancing and the atmosphere they created. The most fun night I’ve ever had and absolutely the best Ceilidh I’ve been to.
