This is a page for ladder players to download completely random Battle Maker Scenarios. Its a continuation of The Ultra Project gotten underway by Tournament House and KG_ABsolute. Each battle Maker downloaded is picked at random from several hundred, with more being added as time goes by. There is also an 8 time zone world clock to help set up and synchronize ladder matches with your opponents.
On the MSN gaming zone you can meet other close combat fanatics to play an online game of cc1, cc2, cc3, cc4 or cc5 against each other. When you have trouble connecting to The Zone you can try the Disconnection Patch.

Operation "Fall Gelb" (the invasion of the Netherlands,

The Finland Mod is a modification of CloseCombat III covering the Finno-Soviet conflict from 39 to 44. All Germans removed from the game and replaced by Finnish units. The Russian teams were completely reworked, with correct translations and new teams like NKVD Border Guards and Morskaya Pekhota units. A new Grand Campaign was added as well.

The Kursk Operations for RealRed by
Sabot.
Fought in early July 1943, Kursk was the greatest tank
battle of WWII and "Citadel" the last major German
offensive in the east. In "bleeding the German armor
white", the Russians succeeded in their goal of weakening
the Panzerwaffe and gaining the stategic initiative for
good. It saw the debut of the Panther and the Tiger (in
large numbers) for the first time against incredibly
dense Russian defenses and masses of tanks.
Play the Kursk Operation with this collection of
operations combined into one campaign. Read the
Readme.txt carefully as the campaign isn't played as a
normal cc3 campaign is...

The end result is a game of Close Combat III that more closely represents Eastern Front squad level combat. RealRed adds over 60 new teams, over 30 new vehicles and over 20 new weapon types to the existing data files as developed by Atomic Software.

Operation Goodwood maps. These are big maps 2880x2040 representative of the good tank country Monty and his boys were looking for after six weeks in the bocage. Sending the Shermans of the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment 11 Armoured division ahead without support from their infantry little did they realise that they would be out gunned and out thought (Losing upward of 300 tanks in two days) by well placed and dug-in defenders.
Luer needed some winter maps for his Finnish mod thus Silmäauki started this map (it resembles Finnish woods in WW2). It is a map of the Raate road area. A narrow road leads through a dens forest, with a small marsh area near the road and quite a lot of elevation differences on the map.

Konrad wrote some very fast tools to pack
and unpack ZFX, NNT and Sprite files. Sprite Tool also
can pack and unpack soldiers so now you can make new
soldiers graphics. To make soldiers Konrad wrote another
tool SolRotate that generates 8 frame of soldier
animations from single image (save some time).
