CC5 patch readme

Notes:

1. This patch is totally unsupported by Atomic or anybody else!

2. After installing the patch browse to your CC5 folder and double click the CC5.reg file and answer 'Yes' to the question "Are you sure you want to add the information in C:\CC5.reg to the registry?"

IMPORTANT NOTE: If your CD-ROM drive letter is anything other than D: you will get the error message "The CC5 CD ROM was not detected". Do not panic. Click 'OK'. When the "Close Combat Error" window appears click 'Browse', select your CD drive and click 'OK'. You will only have to do this the first time you launch CC5 after installing the 5.01 patch files.

Not so important note: The default resolution setting will be 800x600. If you want to use 1024x768 [or higher] click F8 to get the 'Game Options' dialog window, click the 'General' tab and change the 'Screen Resolution' setting [and any other settings you care to].

3. These patch files do not fix the problem with the UK version of CC5 where the copy protection watermark was left off the cd.
