mar 17 2002- Close Combat HQ Forum has new URL

I have not done anything with my site in a long time, but when CC HQ Forum went down and came back at a new URL I had to change the link to that Forum on my site.

jun 18 2001- long awaited (minor) update

I have updated many outdated links. Have been neglecting my site a bit lately. Real Life is far too much fun to pay much attention to minor stuff like world wars and such.

apr 18 2001- the end of the ClubSSI forums?

The mod sites hosted by ClubSSi will go down. It is yet unknown what will become of the forums. Some mod sites already have new webaddresses. Some don't. I hope no valuable data will be lost...

mar 26 2001- TGN server down

The TGN server is down. That means that you can only access the Close Combat HQ forum with www.sonic.net/~lairross/closecombat/ and not with http://closecombat.thegamers.net/forums/.

The TGN Forum is dead! Long live the CC HQ Forum!!

mar 25 2001- new partner site added

CSO_Sulla has made this page with lots of links. Actually with the possibility for a lot of links as visitors may add links to the site. It is about strategic games, military history and stuff. I hope it will become the best links site around so I can retire... lol

mar 18 2001- CC5 Super Patch 1.2 removed

The CC5 Super Patch has been removed from the cc5 page. The patch doesn't work correctly in multiplayer games and this cannot be corrected.

mar 03 2001- CC5 Super Patch 1.2 now available

The CC5 Super Patch has been updated again. The inclusion of the (un)official Patch v5.01a was a bit buggy. This has been corrected.

mar 02 2001- CC5 Super Patch 1.1 now available

The CC5 Super Patch has been updated. Better concealment for AT guns in the newer patch. View the readme for more detailed information.

feb 25 2001- CC5 Super Patch 1.0 now available

The CC5 Super Patch is a set of fixes for CC5, and includes the Atomic unofficial patch 5.01a. I host this patch on my site, but have not been involved in its creation. I cannot give any support on this patch.

feb 09 2001- Demo links added

Added links on the cc2 and cc5 page to the cc2-Revival Site for Mac-Users, Kleban vs Visom - cc5 Grand Campaign and the cc5 strategic map for beginners.

feb 04 2001- Demo links added

Added links to the demo files of Close Combat, Close Combat II, Close Combat III, Close Combat IV and Close Combat V.

jan 30 2001 - Soldier Tools

Added a link to Konrad's Soldier Tools and CplFilth's Color Tool in the cc3 section and tools section. These tools add new modmaking perspectives to close combat. Finally the soldiers can be edited. When will the 'Animal Farm' mod be announced...

jan 30 2001 - Polish Campaign

Added a link to 'the Polish Campaign mod site' in the cc3 section. The site is entirely in Polish and translation sites came up with very strange translations, so I have to judge the site on some screenshots. Looks very promising though.

jan 21 2001 - CC5 Patch released!!!

I uploaded the official cc5 patch to my server and added a link to the patch on the cc5 page. The patch is also available at GS_Marcks' site and the CSO clan site.

jan 07 2001 - France 1940 for CC5

Added a link to the France 1940 for cc5 Mod site on the cc5 page. France 1940 will be a modification of CloseCombat V by Luer, Moloch, Yves Simenel, BobD and FFL Manoï. Some very special custom made maps are being made for this mod and a view are already available (in cc3 format).

jan 07 2001 - Multi Player Grand Campaign

Added a link to Combat HQ on the cc5 page. CombatHQ will be an online multiplayer strategic game for Close Combat. It is still being worked on, but a nice preview of how the game addon will look when finished can be seen on this site.

jan 07 2001 - Plugins updated

Zeppo9 has new plugins for cc5 available on his site. These plugins have been made mainly for the purpose of altering the balance of play in multiplayer games.
