MapMaker is a work in progress map editor
for Close Combat 2. Currently it lets you easily edit the
data files for the maps and convert graphics to tga
files. In the very near future there will a command line
tool that will take your TGA graphic and build the three
graphic files needed by close combat. Buildings are not

It is very helpful for converting the modified TGA files for new maps into the correct format for CC2 without having to use a hex editor. CC3 Data Headers is a spreadsheet info that tells you what cc3 data means. These files includes Western Front and Russian Front timeline info and marks CC3 vehicle data not used by the CC3 engine.. CC3 Data Headers is available from the Western Front site (westernfront.clubssi.com/editing.html).

Konrad wrote some very fast tools to pack and unpack ZFX, NNT and Sprite files. Sprite Tool also can pack and unpack soldiers so now you can make new soldiers graphics. To make soldiers Konrad wrote another tool SolRotate that generates 8 frame of soldier animations from single image (save some time).

TankTool is meant to be used in
conjunction with TinTin's zfx tool. You'll need to
download and install that first (and the Microsoft JVM
too). You then use zfx to extract the Tanks.zfx file.
This makes a Tanks subdirectory and put all the
