FreeDeploy

FreeDeploy is a Windows application for creating "free deploy" maps for Close Combat III. Maps in CC3 have preset/editable German and Russian deployment tiles at the far left- and right-ends of the map. FreeDeploy will set *all* map tiles to neutral, so that users can set deployment zones freely.

Installation

FreeDeploy does not require a Setup-type installation. Simply unzip the application to the folder of your choice.

Usage

Using FreeDeploy, one Opens scenarios created in CC3 (in the Games/Battles folder) and sets all deployment tiles to neutral. The scenario can then be saved or saved with a new filename. After the scenario with all neutral tiles has been saved from FreeDeploy, the scenario is then re-edited in CC3 and tiles are set accordingly.

Note

Prisoners in CC3 will always move in preset directions.
