What
is Strict Login?
Strict
Login is small utility to set a password before starting Windows, so unwanted
users cannot get into your computer. It will ask for a password before Windows
starts. Only if you know the password you can start Windows, otherwise you
can’t start it. Strict Login is very stable and cannot crash. So when the
Strict Login program is loaded, nobody can bypass this and windows can’t be
started. Strict Login can even alarm you when only someone tried to access your
computer, but didn’t know the password and turned your computer off!
The
current version is Strict Login 5. It has a lot off improvements:

to install (with automatic self-extracting setup).

for Windows ME.

user friendly program interface.

The password is encrypted.

Even
more secure (better time registration, wrong password limits and more advanced
alarm triggering).

Real dosmode patch for Windows ME:
This is a patch you'll need to run Strict Login with Windows ME. Without this patch Strict Login doesn't work. You'll need this only for Windows ME!
You can download and install this patch to run Strict Login with Windows ME. Please note that this is not my software. It is made by someone else, so if you have questions about that patch you need to mail that author. Please read the readme file carefully before installing this.

Please follow the instructions and read the readme file after downloading very carefully.
I recommend downloading Strict Login version 5. This is simply the best version. If you have this version you don't need those other versions for optimal security.
