| In 'Conversations with Iannis Xenakis' the composer mentions another (first) version of the composition.
This version was for more instruments (e.g. 12 cello's). Xenakis still has the manuscript, but it was never performed. Recordings available at Le Chant du Monde LDC 278 368 and Col Legno WWE 1CD 20504, and Ades 941222. Another recording will be available from Col Legno 1CD 20086 (to be released in November 2001). |
