In May 1994 the city of Arnhem saw the official opening of a private war museum. The museum is situated on Kemperbergerweg 780 in Arnhem (Schaarsbergen).

Renowned Collection
The Arnhem War Museum 40-45, the name says it all, portrays the history of the war years 1940 - 1945, up to and including the liberation,
as they were experienced in Arnhem and immediate surroundings. You will find quite an unique collection of weapons, uniforms, documents and various objects
giving an impression of daily life during the occupation.

Opening Times
At the end of your visit you will be able to exchange your view in a cosy canteen, where light refreshments are being served.
The museum is open to the public daily from 10.00 AM till 17.00 PM; closed on mondays.
The museum can be reached by bus line 2, from Arnhem Central Station, direction "Heidekamp", busstop:"Museum 40-45".
