When there
is a need to analyze large files, you may consider activities in the field of data
warehousing, on-line analytical processing (olap), business intelligence, data
mining, increasing computer capacity, multidimensional datacubes, relational
databases, migration of data or enlarging the network capacity.
But there
is also a possibility to forget this and use your own small computer (laptop)
with tiny and easy software and get back to basics.
Take a look
at IDA for simple and fast analyzing of your data without unnecessary overhead.
IDA will
enable you to analyse large data files on your budget-line computer. With a
minimum of preparation, you will be able to explore the vital information
registered in the low-level databases of your company in full detail and at any aggregation level. Check for
yourself if the accountants tell the truth, if the financial department
delivers accurate information or if the strategic activities are running as planned. Prepare questions with IDA about
the validity of presented figures in reports and management views. IDA will in
all cases be your independent analyser.
Response times
The
response times of IDA in general will not be more than a few seconds. This
speed is achieved through the inverted format of the IDA database, the array-processing
of the data and the optimal use of the available computer memory (RAM).

Although
IDA is still in the initial ‘concept-stage’ of development, this free test
program may give you a first impression of its future capabilities.
The program
has been developed under Windows XP
and has not been tested with other
operating systems. This test program will be updated so now and then , so you
will be able to follow the progression in the development.
