About Inspiritus
Inspiritus is a gay christian website with a positive view on being christian and homosexual, bisexual or transgender. Not all christians condemn homosexuality! Why not? You will find the answers inside. Inspiritus is made for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people but also for straight people who want to learn how LGTB christians believe and try to live a christian life.
Of course this site doesn't have all the answers and we respect all those other gay christians and lesbians who choose to follow the path of sexual abstinence or healing from homosexuality. If you feel happy on this road you should perhaps stay on that road. Many other websites will help you.
This site is for people who believe that a different point of view is possible and biblical. We believe you can even thank God for being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. You are a unique and beautiful work of art of the Great Creator. You are a part of His rainbow where every colour has its own place, we can't miss any colour, we cannot do without your colour. You are part of the rainbow of God.
A lot of content of this website is contributed and made by visitors of this site. We believe the world will become much nicer if we try to in-spire (that's why we use the word "inspiritus") one another with love, joy, friendship, humour, hope and wisdom. Let us put an end to prejudice, terrorism, racism and homophobia, all based on fear for the unknown.
Ignorance and fear for other people, different cultures or religions will only lead to more hatred and grief. Love and understanding will set this world free. We hope this site will help to eliminate fear for gay people and maybe even the fear for your own sexuality. We hope this site will help some with their coming out to this world, becoming the person they really are. May this site be an inspiration and encouragement to you all!
Inside you will find many articles on homosexuality and the bible, poems, songs, inspiration, articles on gay christian ethics, living a christian homosexual life, a gay christian message board, prayer chapel, dating page and much more. Hopefully this site will also help to reduce the verbal and physical violence used against homosexuals of all races and religions.

Through violence, you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
