Plot

When Brianne Hawkins (Lea Thompson) and her husband Clay (James Marshall) are out one night, a guy tries to chat with Brianne and gets shot by Clay. Clay then wants Brianne to tell the police it was just an accident. Brianne does, but in stead of being released, Clay and Brianne both get locked up behind bars. Brianne's sister Margaret Trainor (Patricia Kalember) wants to help Brianne and get custody of Brianne's daughter Lily. Even if it means that Margaret has to tell the horrible truth about her past.
