Hai there,
I guess you could wander why I started this homepage.
Well, I always had and still have a lot of hobbies. Furthermore I liked games. I made my own board games usually copying several game aspects and rolled them into one. In the '80s I programmed games using basic on a Commodore 64. I met Johan who introduced me to roleplaying based upon the SF serie Perry Rhodan. Later we extended this to the colonial age. We fought battles by shooting at the figurines and ships of our opponents.
One of them was Simon. He introduced me to Jack, a teacher who learned us AD&D. From that moment on I was really hooked. So I told my friends as well. They liked it too and we started playing several times a week. At one period I played in two groups and was DM from three other groups.
Later Remco launched KILL magazine where people could write about there party, anecdotes and more. I had a lot of stories, dungeons and magic items so I thought it would be nice to publish it on the Internet as well.
The computer squeezed his way in and lots of board games are replaced by multimedia games but it will never replace the excitement of fantasy role-playing with friends. Although I enjoy a game like Diablo too...
