| In one of the manuscript Cage numbered the objects 1-7. They include "metal & wood," wood
stick, metal pipe, plastic cup, chain, long pipe, and a ladder. In another manuscript Cage mentions a chair, suitcase, plants (including cactus and
poinciana), glass, ladder, table, carpet, box, ash tray, etc. Paul van Emmerik gives the title Dialogue, dating it 'around 1970', while the manuscripts in the New York Public Library are entitled Dialog and dated 1977.
