Composed in collaboration with Lejaren Hiller, using the COC-6400 computer, located at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Every unique computer print-out, accompanying each one of the 10 000 LP's with a recording of HPSCHD, gives instructions for adjusting left and right channel (seperately) volume, treble and bass, every 5 seconds. The values are given in numbers ranging from 0 (knob turned full left) to 4 (knob turned complete right).
