Jos Kleuskens

Does modelflying since 1961. Has a lot of F3J-experience. Became 2nd at the first European Championships back in 1997.  Was many times Dutch teammember as a pilot at World and European Championships. This year is the first time as a Team Manager and he is also the reserve pilot.

Piet van der Laan

Piet (61) flies model airplanes since 1979. He is participating in the Dutch F3J competition.
He is member of the model flying club
Aeria where he was the chairman for several years.
He’s now for the first time team manager of the juniors.

    Cor de Jong

Cor (34) is mechanical engineer and does modelplane flying for 18 years now. Besides thermal soaring he now and then does some slope soaring on the skiing hill in Groningen, his residence. Flies with the Starlight 3000.
The Multiplex rc-gear he uses: Profi-mc 4000 tx, Micro-digi servos and 7 SYNTH DS IPD receivers. Was five times helper on European and World Championships. Competed 1999 at the EC F3J in Romania (placed 15th) and 2004 at the WC F3J in Canada (placed 11th) . Member of model-soaringclub "De Pimpelmezen"

Profession: He runs the house.

Results: Dutch senior champion in 1990 and 1998
Results Internationals: Several fly-off places during contests in The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium
EC & WCH: EC 1999 Romania (junior), EC 2001 Slovakia, EC 2005 Croatia 
Planes: Bits and pieces… he builds his own models.
Geert will be coach for  his son Frank 

 

   
    Egbert Fokke van der Laan

Egbert (23) started flying model airplanes when he was 8 !!
He is member of the model flying club "Äeria” in Leeuwarden.
Since 1994 he is participating in F3J contests
Egbert achieved a lot of excellent results, both on national and international level
He was the junior champion on the European championship 2002 in Slovakia 
2001 national champion junior and senior (best all over)
2002 winner of the international contest “Hollandglide”
2003 and 2004 national champion, in 2004 he also won the international (Eurotour) contest in Vosselaar, Belgium.
2005 8th At the Istanbul Open 2005 
This year Egbert is flying the ’Pike Superior’ and ‘Pike Giant’ (Samba models).
His radio gear is Multiplex.
Egbert Fokke will be coach for junior pilot Lesley.


   
    Berend van der Laan

Berend van der Laan, was born on the 6th of February 1953.
He is member of the model flying club "Äeria" in Leeuwarden since 1979.

He is the father of Lesley, who is flying as a junior in the upcoming European championship f3j.
Berend was a helper in the Dutch team at the European championship 2002 in Finland,2005 in Kroatië and he will be a helper this year as well.

He flies competition both RC glider and RC power

 

 

   
    Peter Zweers

Age 34 
Peter works as an outdoor advisor for an assurance company. Flies since 1985. Started in competition in 1989. 
Went for the first time to World Championships 1998 in England as supporter.
