BEAM is the new philosophy of robotics.

The concept was invented by Mark Tilden, who works at the Los Alamos National Laboratories.
Tilden is considered as the BEAM guru by many "BEAM-ers".

BEAM is based on nervous network technology in which the robots are completely independent from humans.
They also make their movements based on reflexes.
