BEAM Walker (updated)
After several attempts with "own" electronics, I decided to make
this walker a BEAMER.
With some experimenting with the resistors I've found that the
values mentioned in the circuit work OK. It really works fine and
backups for several seconds when bumping into something with one
of its feelers. The backup time can be changed by using other values
for the 3,3 uF capacitor or the resistor of 1 Mohm beside it.
Use H bridges where M is mentioned. When going backward there
is a cricket sound.
With these walkers the leg layout is very important. If one leg
is longer than the other, it looks like the walker is limping. Don't
be disappointed when it doesn't walk fine the first time. Just experiment
with the legs layout.
Power is coming from 4 rechargeable batteries with 750 mAh. You
just have to see one of these guys walking and reversing; Really
cool!
Maybe one day I'm able to make some videos!
Walker printed circuit not ready yet, sorry
