Microhexapod
This is the new bot I'm building.
The mechanics are ready.
Minihexapod2 was small, but this hexapod
is very , very small !
Just look at the pictures.
Some detailed information.
The legs are made of six bolts ( M3*50mm / ± 0,12*2 inch).
They are bend, if you do this slowly they won't break.
The joints are made of nuts, soldered to the chassis. This chassis
is made of a piece printed circuit board, I've used double sided,
but that isn't needed.
The overall dimensions: 70 by 80 mm ! ( ± 2,8 by 3,1 inch).
That's included the legs !
I think I'm gonna give power by two Goldcaps of 10 F.
The electronics will consist out of two IC ( thanks Wilf, who gave
me some advise) and a handfull of other components. The
schematics looks like the one I've used in minihexapod2. It's
isn't build yet, but I'm sure it will work.
The H-bridges will be made from BAL 6686 ( parts from old servos)
What can I say more ?
It is small.......... very small !
