From a Havanese
buyer..... Hi, Marian. I purchased a Havanese from "Lisa" in April. When I tried to contact her for the registration papers (which she was holding until I had Brody neutered) I couldn't find her. I live around 10 miles from where she was living in Fayette County. I have contacted an investigator with the Fayette County Sheriffs Dept. named Bobby Riles. He went to see Lisa a couple of months ago regarding a complaint from someone who lived in another state. They had purchased a dog from Lisa (I think she told him her name was Sandra Marlow) and had not received the registration papers. She told Bobby that they were coming from England!! Bobby gave me the directions to her house and I drove by there Friday. The house was empty but the dog pens were still there. I talked to someone who lived nearby and she told me they had moved suddenly in the middle of the night. She heard they had moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and that another neighbor had their address and telephone no. She told me that she knew something was not right about these people. Someone went into the house after they moved and found checkbooks under several different names. Bobby is supposed to call me today and I will ask him if he will pay the people with info on their whereabouts a visit. I am lucky in the respect that I only bought my dog for a pet. I did pay $1200, though!! I almost cried when I saw the little bitty pens she kept her dogs in and, from the neighbor, they were kept outside all the time! I will keep you posted on my luck with Bobby. Please let me know if I can be of any help to you. Someone needs to find out where these dogs are coming from!! All Tennesseans are not like her!!!!
