In a nutshell, this is my story.
I contacted a bunch of
people looking for a French bulldog. I got back all my replies
and narrowed it down. Lisa's was the cheapest for the dog and
shipping, plus she had a 2 year health guarantee. The first email
was 9/24, her email was myfrenchies@yahoo.com
through
terrificpets.com. I spoke to her twice on the phone before I sent
the money. The first email she told me they would be ready in 2-3
weeks (she first had to find out if her mom had any all white
ones) and the second email was a picture of him from the side.
Then Oct.2 I sent a money order priority
mail for $1172.00 (included shipping and health
certificate.)
She didn't tell me which airline but she might have mentioned
American. Oh, she even sent me pictures of the parents. She
should have received the money order no later then Oct. 6th, I
kept calling and calling and then finally the husband answered.
He told me Lisa was really sick and couldn't talk but he told me
they received the money order. I still did not hear from her but
then Oct. 9 she emailed me after I left a message saying send my
money back, your not responding me and she screamed me out saying
I WAS IMPATIENT!!! She said she didn't want to wean the babies
away if they aren't ready. She told me I was being pushy.
She said I should be happy that they care about the babies and
the new moms and dads that are getting them. She told me she
tried calling me 5 times and my line was busy. I have a cell, it
can't be busy ever! She called me the next day saying she
never saw the money order, her daughter just went ahead and sent
it to Sandra. I knew something was not right. I found out
the money order was cashed Oct. 8th, the same day she said she
received it.
Next email was great. It was on 10/16 and she
says "I'm so sorry, there has been a huge
misunderstanding.
I called my mom today to see if they were ready and she told me
they were only born on 9-5. She told me she hated being in the
middle of things and her mom would give me call." She never
called. I wrote her an email saying if you are not planning to
ship it in the month of October, forget it. Send me my $ back. I
have future plans coming up and then is not a good time. I
also accused her of things not making sense and I was wondering
if she could clarify them. (Sandra cashing $ order when it was
made out to Lisa, age of the puppy in picture (based on 9-5 the
puppy didn't look only 2-3 weeks but more like 5-6), can't get in
touch with her, the day $ order was cashed, she was the last one
to reply to me (about a week after everyone else, I found out she
did reply to me sooner but with a different email asking for more
$ and I denied it), first email she told me she called mom and
she said they were ready in 2-3 weeks, she was so mean on the
phone that one time, she told me her mom would call, never did,
ect.. Never heard from her till 10/20. She told me she was going
to get the puppies this week but her daughters baptism is on
Sunday and her mother was planning to come down for that so she
will just bring the puppies with her. Then she will arrange for
exact shipping dates and would let me know. That was the last
email from her and of course I sent her a few more saying how
messed up this whole situation is and I asked her if she was one
of those horrible people in the world that everyone hoped did not
exist.
I contacted the Loxahatchee police and spoke
to Mary Lagaso (head of crimes) She told me there was no name
under Lisa Crocker, no Driver's License for her, no matching name
to that address.She told me that's all she could do until I got
the copy of the money order and see where it was cashed. She said
I was the only complaint.
The contract was for Elite K9's, Lisa Crocker
and Sandra Marlow
My friend went to visit her on November 2 and
there was a notice on the door saying she was $7000 in debt and
had not payed rent in a long time. She must have lived there for
a couple of months to become $7000 in debt after putting $
down. No mail was in box and all shades were down with an old
beat up chevy van in the driveway.
I already sent a notice to the internet
fraud company. Tomorrow I am mailing in $ to get the copy of the
money order. Lisa told me her hubby works at the animal safari
and I was going to call the post office to see if there was a
forwarded address .
