Port Chooser
Port Chooser 1.0.1 Port Choose is a tiny HyperCard utility that helps you to select a serial port (or a Serial2USB converter) to send data to it. This utility does not send the data itself, it only activates the port for future data transmissions. ![]() As you can see, the interface is very simple. Only one menu lets you choose the active serial port. When you start up HyperCard, the currently selected port is modem port. This default port does not necessarily appear in the menu, because not every computer has a port with that name. More information The ? button will pop up a little dialog with copyright information. Port Chooser 1.0.1 includes balloon help. Choose Show Help Balloons from the menu and move the mouse cursor over the window objects to read additional information. If you have further questions, you can send an e-mail to the author, Mark Schonewille. His e-mail address is: marksch@zonnet.nl. Credits This stack was created by Mark Schonewille.
