Pictures from the Celtic Ragas Band

The Celtic ragas band came together in june to perform for Paul McCartneys wedding in Ireland on the 12th. The band consisted of Chinmaya, Jamie, Ramadan, Prabodh, Manish, Sadhu, Tanmayo and Naveena.

This is the house of Asanga and Sam in North-Wales,
where we all stayed together for one week
to rehearse on the celtic ragas pieces.

We cooked every night wonderful dinners for eachother.

At the end of the week we gave a house concert in the kitchen,
as this was the largest room in the house...

In Glaslough the press had already assembled themselves in front of the castle gates!

The organising people built a beautiful stage for us, a gold white Indian temple, and the technical crew was very helpful setting us up.

There are no pictures on this site of the event itself, as nobody was allowed to take pictures!

After the concert we went for dinner in an Indian restaurant in Belfast, where the lassies were very bad but the food very good.

Finally there is point where people get tired of posing in front of the camera, as can be seen from the gestures on the picture down here.
