7 April 1933 in Moscow. Died: 16 November 2000 in New York.
Education
At five, Andriasov entered the music school to study violin.
He studied composition with Grant Grigorian and Grigory Frid.
In 1963, he graduated from the P. I. Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow,
in the class of Professor Evgeny Golubev, a pupil of Nikolai Myaskovsky.
Since 1979, Iosif Andriasov resided in New York City.
