Born

Falik was born 30 July 1936 in Odessa.

Education

He got his musical education at the world-renowned Stoliarsky musical school. He graduated in 1962 from Leningrad Conservatoire as cellist (class of professors A. Strimmer and M. Rostropovich) and as composer (class of professor B. Arapov).
