Education

Julia Gomelskaya graduated as a pianist from Simferopol Musical College of Ukraine in 1983 and as a composer from Odessa State A. Nezhdanova Conservatory under Prof. O. Krasotov in 1990.
In 1995 she was awarded a fellowship by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London). She has received the MMus Postgraduate Degree in Composition with distinction (Prof. R. Saxton, City University, London). In 1997 she received the Overseas Research Students Award for a reading for the degree of PhD in the Composition at the University of Sussex (UK).
