Born

28 November 1951 in Kalinin (now: Tver).

Education

She graduated from and completed post-graduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory as a composer, pianist and organist. In 1987 she won the Shostakovich Composer's Prize.

Style

Her music is mainly determined by het love of the balance of classical music, pimarily of the Classical World, pierced by a sensual delight. Her music is imbued with light and Bacchic joie de vivre.
