On three trips to India we only once managed to see the elusive leopard in the wild. There is more leopard than tiger in India, but you'll be very lucky to see one. In the leopard rescue centre of Jaldhapara they had several wild leopard which are to be released in the wild again. We hope they'll manage. They did look a bit sorry in their cages, unable to hide themselves, what  they are so good at in the wild...
