| Barrelorgan with 16 notes To begin with , I designed and drew building plans for a 16 note barrelorgan. The dimensions are app. W x H x D = 41 x 32 x 22 cm. All materials are easy to find or to buy. The music rolls can be made by the builder as described in the plans. Many people have have been surprised at how easy it is to make this lovely small instrument. The material costs are fairly low. An additional 5 bass pipes can be added and are shown in an appendix. The price is 12.50 Euro . (incl. shipping in Europe) Barrelorgan with 32 notes My second design is a 32 note organ, for which I have also drawn a set of plans. The dimensions are app. W x H x D = 70 x 67 x 44 cm. This instrument is more advanced. Popular and classical music can be played, with -easy to make- music rolls. Many people have built this instrument . The price is 15.00 Euro. (incl. shipping in Europe) The plans are divided into a number of worksheets, each detailing a different part of the organ. Prints for music rolls can be converted from MIDI files using the free downloadable program MIDIBOEK on http://huizen.daxis.nl/~Ppaardekam/ The required gamma file (note scale) for the 32 note organ , can be mailed free on request. (by me)Special tools are not required. However a vertical (pillar) drill and a circular saw bench are useful. The plans are very detailled , with text in Dutch. An Excel file is available with a Dutch-English translation word list. Please ask if you need it. (My daily job is Designer-Engineer in mechanics and steel shipbuilding) Roel
