Chaenomeles japonica  /  Flowering Quince
1. > Purchased as a pre-Bonsai in a traings-pot in 1989. (white blossom !) 
2. and 3. > Photos  taken in 2000 with white blossom.
4. > 4 year old seedling from this Bonsai, but now back with red blossom 
Dims. in 2004 ↕: 24cm,  ↔: 20cm

1. > Seedling from 1984 planted in a pot after 3 years

1. Purchased as Bonsai in 1999

From 2 seedlings.  Planted together to create a twin style. Collected in 1990 and 1993 resp.
