Restrained melodies, weaving guitar patterns and postrock dynamics form the core of Stillwell’s music. File under now wave or postrock, probably under noise or indie rock. References to bands like Codeine, Mogwai, Do Make Say Think, Turing Machine, and Fugazi meet composers like Górecki and Reich. 
 


07/01/03  We have decided to break up our band.  

22/06/02 The new album is finished! The record contains seven songs and is available on cd only. Friday June 14th we have launched the record, entitled 'filling up the room' in ACU in Utrecht, together with Mercy Giants, who presented their new cd 'racing club hades'. The album will be officially released on September 30. It will be available from Konkurrent distribution and in alternative record stores. Meanwhile you can listen to a few tracks here. The show in ACU has been our last show with Maarten on drums. Unfortunately he left the band after eight years.
