I use this site as a place for Dutch and Flemish owners of the Yamaha FZ 750. Owners of an FZ600 or 700 are also welcome as are others with an interest in those bikes. We keep in touch via mail and this way we can ask for assistance in case of a problem or when spares are needed. As for the latter, I have several items coming from a disassembled FZ 750. For a list please click the link below.

Yamaha FZ 750 meeting 2005

Hello FZ fans,
The 4th annual Dutch FZ meeting will take place on Sunday 5 Juni 2005.
Participants are expected on the parking of restaurant De Goudreinet
in Veenendaal. From there we will have a short tour and a nice lunch. Last year
we had a line-up of 17 FZ's, let's see how many can make it this year.
Everyone with a Yamaha FZ 750, but also 700, 600, 400 or a special based on
these is welcome. And if you want to take a friend along this is no problem,
even if this other person happens to ride a different kind of bike.
Some additional information below.

Meeting 2003
On sunday 18 May 2003 we had the 2e Dutch FZ meeting for
owners of the Yamaha FZ 750, FZ 700 or FZ 600. We had a gathering of 11
FZ's, some of them with interesting modifications. Participation of a
German freak made it an international meet.
On this site I have place a copies of a few articles as appeared in several magazines before. Even the youngest piece is a few years old, so I assume the publishers don't mind.
There are several ways to get an article on the web. I have experimented a bit with jpg compression and with pdf files. Most Dutch internetters have to pay their own phone fee, and the space I have on the server is also limited. That is why I choose to make the files as small as possible. Possible compromisses in quality have been taken into the bargain.
I was a bit limited by the fact that my scanner can handle only single sheets and no colours. Fact one made me use photocopies so fact two was no additional limitation :-)
Reading the articles on screen will go without problems. In case you would like a print, I would advise to save to the hard disk first (right mouse click, save as). Open in a photo editor and make sure the option "fit to page" is used. Otherwise you run the risk to use 4 sheets where 1 will do.
www.fz750.net this site has developed to become THE international FZ site. Host is Arch from Japan and he has many interesting chapters on his site. For all questions and such is a very active BBS. FZ 750 owners can join the owners registry. Over 250 people from all over the world have already done so.
www.fz750.de to test your German, this is a good gateway to the German language FZ community. The Germans also have an active e-mail groep, with about 100 members.
www.seanharbour.homeip.net/fz750 On this wike (visitors can add their information to the site) Sean has collected several interesting know-hows about the FZ. Often as a result of subjects that have been discussed on the site of Arch.
www.750fz.fr.st in case your French is good have a look with Didier. Under the Welcome button he has the information also in English :-)

A special remark for the site of Bridgestone, as far as I know they are the only tire manufacturer that does not only mention the size of the tire, but also the size of wheel for which this tire is meant. Apart from a recommended rim they also mention the sizes that will also suit that tire: bridgestone/onroad . Click per type of tire, e.g. BT-45
As you might have guessed all parts are located in the Netherlands. Shipment within the EU is no problem, I fear that for shipment outside EU the payment might be the obstacle. But if you really need a part and are willing to pay the bank charges or have some cash Euro's lying around, this obstacle is a lot smaller.
