Samantha Reese: :1972 born in Canada, lived and worked in Marseille and now stationed in Den Haag. " My work is often fantastical and supernatural just as many of the current world events in the last twelve months, yet my work is never literal and goes in the direction of being largely metaphorical. My work developed out of a necessity to find a balance through rough, organic and landscape forms, consistently discovering new forms and new histories. I try to present to the viewer a sincere investigation into a parallel fictional history, the very distant past and the very far future."
