István Manó was born on April 22nd, 1861 in Pest. István Manó's father was Aron Antal KÖNIGSBERGER and his mother was Júlia BODÁNSZKY.  His paternal grandparents were N. KÖNIGSBERGER and Lea N.. He had five brothers named Ferdinand, Sándor dr., Gyula Albert dr., Samu József  and Lajos dr..  He was the second youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 70 in 1931 in Budapest.
