25th of August 2000 Sail Amsterdam.

Hydrofoils the Annemarie, Archimedes and the La Alta Rapido at the jetty at Velsen Noord. 
Because of al the ships on the north sea channel during sail in, our Hydrofoils where lead up.
So this is a rare photo, because most of the time there are two hydrofoils in service while the third is held back as back up.

This photo shows the Archimedes on service speed(32 knots) on her way to Velsen.
The Photo is made on top of the ski hill of recreation area Spaarnewoude.
