Last year (2001)FFF decided to replace the old voskhod-2 hydrofoils for new ones.
The voskhod-2 type hase proven to be a good sized hydrofoil for the line
IJmuiden to Amsterdam and back.
So we want the same type ,but with better seaworthynes and some other changes.
After some consult with the Feodosia shipbuilding association"MORYE"
,situated in the Ukraine,  FFF made their choice.
The F.S.A had three unfinished hulls of the voskhod-2M,the M stands for marine.
Hull #604,605 and 606.
The major difference between the voskhod-2 and 2M is that the 2M has
a better seaworthynes due to lager foils( the foils are also better corrosion resisted).
From a logistic view it was better to start building first on hull # 605 , # 606 and as last # 604.
